Jun 4 2024: 5-methoxytryptamine standard was purchased and analyzed and it does not match the sample. Identification by library match (98% match) was incorrect. This substance remains unidentified.
Mar 22 2024: 5-methoxytryptamine identified by library match. Our lab does not currently have a certified reference standard for 5-methoxytryptamine, but one is available. It might be months before we see the results of any new analysis compared to the 5-methoxytryptamine standard. Check back for updates.
